There is an anecdote about a cat that thought that he knew everything about anything on this earth, it all started when the cat once got a way in, a public library not just that after recurrent visits to the place the cat knew which book was the most comfortable to settle next to and which book gave the maximum warmth in winter. With this information the cat started bossing all the other fellow cats, they would come to him for the information.
What I am trying to put into view is that the person who says that he is knowledgeable is actually the most ignorant of all. He does know the name of the books that has to be referred, and even knows the place where you can get it. But if you ask him what is written in it he may not have a clue. A person may read only few books, but what is vital is that he must know what they were trying to get across. A book is best valued when it succeeds to enlighten few. I am aware that a person needs are always directed towards satisfaction, but while reading the book if one can learn few lessons from it then it is complete contentment.
